Poison is one of the most effective female weapons in the history. Whenever they needed to get rid of someone, the poisoners would choose a deadly chemical that would eventually deliver the results. The reasons for this move varies. Women often kill for a financial gain, when they are jealous or want to escape an abusive marriage. Yiya Murano, who would later be known as the poisoner of Monserrat, did the same. Her poison of choice was cyanide. Yiya killed because she was in huge debt and thought that scamming people for money was the only way she could get out of it. When her victims asked to get their investments back, Yiya would poison them by adding cyanide to her dessert cakes. She got away with two murders and the chances are the authorities would not even suspect that Yiya was involved in any way. But she needed to eliminate the third investor, and that was her downfall.
