Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationProf Zichu Wang (born in 1948) is the dean of the School of Music, Zhengzhou University, Henan Province, China. A specially appointed professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Zhengzhou University and Dean of Zhengzhou University’s Conservatory of Music and Music Archaeology Institute, he is a prominent and respected musical archaeologist. He has served as the president of the Chinese Music History Society and as executive deputy director of the Music Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Art. Prof Wang has published extensively and organized a number of important exhibitions of China’s music artefacts. Translator: The translator Prof. Wei Feng is currently affiliated with Department of Translation, School of Foreign Languages, Shanxi University. It is located in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, People’s Republic of China. Wei Feng earned her doctorate from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and published widely in SSCI-indexed journals. Prof. Wei Feng has special interest in Chinese to English translation and translated extensively. Prof Wei Feng has completed two national translation projects as the PI, namely Chinese Academic Translation Project of the National Social Science Foundation of China.
