Author Information

Stacey Dempsey started The Frosted Apron in her hometown of New Iberia, Louisiana, in 2017 with the hope of helping others explore their creative sides through the art of treat decorating. She's hosted over 200 events where she has taught people of all ages how to decorate cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and more. She loves spending time in her kitchen creating new recipes, and she always makes time to play hide and seek with her pup, Charlee, who loves to hide around the house. Lexi Renard is a dedicated teacher, artist, and mother from South Louisiana. Her work is inspired by the rich culture, natural beauty, and storytelling traditions of the place she calls home. With a background in education and fine arts, she brings a unique approach to both her creative projects and her classroom. Her artwork has won numerous festival poster contests, earning recognition for its bold color and connection to community. Whether in the classroom or at her drawing table, she finds joy in nurturing creativity and capturing the magic of everyday life.
