Brightly holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology (Pre-Medicine), a Masters of Public Policy Administration (M.P.P.A.) with an emphasis on Healthcare Administration, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational and Leadership Administration (PH.D.) Dr. Brightly's research and special interest areas include: economic education, health and wellness programs, policy formulation and implementation, health education, and social epidemics that affect families. She has coached executives for Black Enterprise-Women of Power Summit, has been featured on Fox 35 news as an ID theft protection expert, keynote speaker for influential business women in Miami featured in Legacy Magazine found in the Miami Herald, and was a recognized national presenter for the NCRC 2012 national conference as she trained housing counselors across the U.S. on Homeowners Transitioning to Rental.
