Reviews

The book provides a comprehensive review of the key SPSS commands. It methodically walks students through the use of the statistical procedures and provides clear discussions of how to interpret the results. The authors also use excellent and timely empirical examples from the 2008 ANES Data...Yes, I think it would compliment my approach. I spend a great deal of time teaching the students SPSS in class. While I would still devote some time to that, this book would allow me to spend more time on the core course material and have the students learn some of the SPSS basics on their own by reading a book like this.
