Bail is rule and Jail is an Exception. The Freedom of a person should not be curtailed on the basis of mere allegations. The author is an advocate, practicing law at Bombay High Court and its subordinate courts for the last 20+ years. The author has also worked as a ""Monitor"" and ""Trainer"" in the ""Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization"" campaign of the World Health Organization In Bharat.
