Author Information

Ronald M. James’s previous publications include The Roar and the Silence: A History of Virginia City and the Comstock Lode. He is the executive director of the Comstock Foundation for History and Culture and served as state historic preservation officer for three decades. He lives in Carson City, Nevada, USA. Author and historian Susan A. James has been the scholar in residence for Virginia City’s Fourth Ward School Museum since 2002. She lives in Carson City, Nevada, USA.
