OverviewExcerpt from A Secret Political League, Who and What It Is: Its Anonymous Circulars Exposed and Court Cases Involving the Sex Problem; Frankly Discussed With deep appreciation of all that the people of Denver have done. For us, and proud but not boastful of all we have done for them, and with the humility that knows that we could have done nothing without the help of thousands of friends, we stand ready at any time to submit our case for the eleventh time in thirteen years - not to framed up committees, packed juries or fake organizations, but TO the people. We are just as confident of an outcome equally overwhelming and de cisive in our favor as in the past. But we know, and so proclaim to the friends of Denver's Juvenile Court everywhere 1n the Nation, that the people of Denver are satisfied with its record. They are overwhelmingly back of it in this struggle. They are not asking it, or its Judge, to submit to further tests of approval. Ten such tests, through bitter fights in twelve years, with the overwhelming approval of the people, is a test to which no other institution hasbeen subjected before in this country. The Court wishes to assure its friends that even now those mem bers of the old gang we have fought, who cowardly masque rade behind the Skirts of the Woman's Protective League, are sneaking back to the dark holes of hate, jealousy and' revenge from whence they came during the recent illness and-absence from Denver of the Judge. They have been bluffing now for four months. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
