Yosely Pereira is a humble Cuban carpenter. His life journey includes multiple failed escapes from Cuba, imprisonment, near-death experiences, and finally a desperate paddle across the shark-infested Florida Straits in a boat that he built. Billy Ivey has been an advertising writer and branding professional for more than twenty years. Throughout his career, he has partnered with local, regional, and national brands like Chick-fil-A, Home Depot, and Major League Baseball. A resident of Birmingham, Alabama, he earned his BA in English literature from Samford University. He and his wife, Bethany, have five children. Gustavo Rex has been the Spanish voice of Captain Crunch and also launched the Fox Network in Latin America. His work on the PBS show Rock en Español won an Emmy(c). In addition to television, he also lends his talents to audiobooks.
