Overview

As a seven-year-old I was given a five-year diary into which I dutifully placed events I felt were of major importance. On the diary's demise I packed my trauma-filled school days and the agonies of drama-school into a series of annual diaries. Eventually the diary entries of twenty-four years were buried in the heavy ottoman in my bedroom where they remained. Later, some twenty years ago, I discovered the diaries and deposited them in a folder on my Laptop. Time has passed and at present I am eighty-eight and would like to leave something in writing, just in case any of my great grand-children might be interested. Thinking back on my life it has certainly not been boring. What I write will be erratic and the dates and chronological order will be highly questionable as my memory is going.
