OverviewWhen joy feels far away, what if the path to it is already beneath your feet? In a world where anxiety, burnout, and spiritual numbness are becoming increasingly common, joy can feel more like a distant hope than present reality. Many believers navigate life feeling disconnected from God, unsure how to find Him amid daily struggles. A Road Map to Joy aims to show that joy is not out of reach; rather it's unfolding right where you are. A Road Map to Joy is a poetic, soul-stirring invitation to walk the winding road of life through moments of memory, mystery, and meaning, where joy is already waiting. Through heartfelt stories and poetry, along with biblical reflections, Bonnie Saul Wilks guides readers into sacred encounters with God, who is the ultimate source of joy. This book will help you: Awaken your spiritual senses to discover joy in unexpected places Heal from past wounds that have diminished your hope Develop daily habits of worship, prayer, and surrender to transform your perspective Embrace resilience, gratitude, and wonder, regardless of your season or story You do not have to pretend to feel joy. You can walk toward it, and when you do, you will find you were never alone on the road.. Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationBonnie Saul Wilks moved to a kibbutz in Israel after graduating Bible school, where she served as a Christian volunteer for two and a half years. She studied Hebrew and grew to love the Jewish people and culture. Later, Bonnie and her husband and daughter were sent out from a church in Texas to pioneer Bible schools. While traveling internationally, they learned to weep with those that mourn and rejoice with the happy. For forty years Bonnie has been capturing the beauty and pain of the nations in poetry and prose and does her best writing in the Scottish highlands or the Sinai desert. She has also authored Sabbath: A Gift of Time, which is a glimpse of the benefits of the Jewish tradition of taking a day of rest weekly. Bonnie lives in Bedford, Texas, with her husband, where she dotes on her daughter, son-in-love, and three grandchildren. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
