Gary Steven Gierth was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a young boy he was fascinated with picture books, nursery rhymes and stories of magical beings. As an adult he would read nursery rhymes to his nieces and one day he picked up a pen and began writing his own tales about Tammy Taranda, Mr. Meetle and Barney Bee. And now he shares his stories with his two wonderful grandchildren.
