Reviews

“The book explores the importance of innovation and non-traditional problem-solving methods to combating issues in the healthcare industry. The layout of the information provides an easy-to-read format as the bullet points and illustrations diversify the presentation. The purpose of the book is to show that creativity and thinking outside of the box can enhance the patient experience. The authors provide a framework that others can follow to reimagine process improvement. The book meets its objectives as these goals are definitely needed in healthcare as the healthcare industry continues to evolve. The book's audience is every individual who works in healthcare. Professionals from physicians to program managers can all benefit from reinventing ways to improve healthcare delivery. The book does a great job of providing some generalized examples of how to apply the concepts to specific areas of expertise. The authors are credible subject matter experts as one is a medical physicist who co-invented a medical device, and the other is a professional heavily involved in research who has received multiple achievements… This book significantly enriches the healthcare sector, an industry often resistant or slow to change. Unlike many texts that are articulated in complex language, this book stands out by presenting ideas in a straightforward and accessible manner. This approach not only facilitates a clearer understanding of its concepts but also simplifies their application in practice for various healthcare professionals.” —Tiffany Rose Kong, MSN, RN, CCRN-CSC, CNL (Rush University Medical Center) in Doody’s Core Titles (May 2024)
