OverviewThe premise behind A Primer on Structure and Protocol is as the title suggests: a guide for fellowships, prelates, protocol officers, and certain other pastors. A primer is a textbook created broadly for teaching or presenting some of the basic elements of a subject. The impetus to write this book came from things I have observed in the past few years that created in my spirit the burning need to be the iron that sharpeneth iron. I love the Body of Christ, and want to see all of its servants succeed; and avoid the pitfalls that have toppled - or nearly toppled - other Fellowships, including the place where I currently serve. Even though the approach to each topic/chapter in this book might seem to have been hypothetical, everything I have written has been based on something I've observed, firsthand. The recommendations originated with the basic question, What would *I** do, in that situation? Writing them down, my objective was to provoke you to ask the same question. If the end-result of this book is that we end up with better Fellowships - LEGENDARY Fellowships - then we will have done what we set out to do. Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationBishop Raymond Allan Johnson serves as the Second Presiding Bishop of the Kingdom Destiny Fellowship International, a fellowship of pastors from around the United States, and from Africa, Asia, and Brazil, in South America. He came to KDFI five years ago, at the invitation od the Presiding Bishop, Derrick Demond Robinson, whom he previously knew, from the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. Bishop Johnson was raised a Jehovah's witness; and left that organization at the age of twenty-three, in July 1974. For about four months, after he left the Watchtower, he spent time in the Nation of Islam. During that time, I met a man named Bennie Maultsby, who shared the Gospel with to him. He joined Full Gospel, in 1993, and served on the staff of one of the key Bishops, in the Fellowship. His early experience in Full Gospel provided much of the background for this book.
