A Prefect's Uncle is an early novel by P.G. Wodehouse published in 1903. A new term is beginning at Beckford College, and ""Bishop"" Gethryn seems to have it all: He's the head prefect of his schoolhouse, a top athlete on both the cricket and rugby teams, and is respected by his schoolmates and the Headmaster.
