OverviewIt is over 35 years since the Association Agreement between Turkey and the EC was signed, and only slow progress has been made towards the accession of Turkey to the Community. However, the benefits of the Agreement in terms of the rights bestowed on Turkish workers in the Community cannot be negated. The Agreement and its subsidiary legislation now provide the most established rights of third country nationals in Community law. This volume provides a reference to the provisions of the EC-Turkey Association Agreement and subsequent Council of Association decisions as they affect migrant workers from Turkey. It also contains an up-to-date analysis of the ECJ rulings in the field. It includes: the relevant texts of the Agreement and the Council of Association decisions; the texts of all the ECJ judgments in the field; snf detailed analysis of the provisions and ECJ judgments.
