She introduced parenting programmes into treatment and preventive services and undertook research trials on services for children with behavioural problems, including developing the EPaS programme. In 2011, she was awarded an OBE for her work with children and families. Dr Margiad Williams’ PhD evaluated the Enhancing Parenting Skills (EPaS) programme in health visiting services across north Wales and Shropshire. She has studied/worked at the Centre for Evidence Based Early Intervention since 2009 evaluating programmes for parents, teachers and children.
