This is an easy to read guide to issues and ideas for working with young people who have faced trauma. I would recommend this book for counsellors, teachers, social workers an also students across a range of disciplines. There are several general chapters exploring the area and then specific chapters on different experiences - for example, adoptive families, looked after children, young offenders and young homeless people. Each chapter provides insight, reflective learning exercises and practical tips or guidance. There is a detailed biography.
