Author Information

David Galipeau is a Canadian and a 35 yrs veteran of a hybrid career in finance, publishing, and tech as a corporate exec, dot‐com entrepreneur, and social business innovator. After two successful ‘ot‐com’start‐up exits in the EU, David joined the UN in Geneva in 2005 (UNAIDS and UNCTAD). In 2010, he was invited to the Asia‐Pacific by UNDP and founded the UN Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship programs, the UN Social Impact Fund (UNSIF), and the UN Frontier Technology initiative. David left the UN in 2019 and co‐founded SDGx, Singapore. David currently is an advanced technology researcher and lectures at School of Integrated Innovation at Chulalongkorn University, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Siam University Global Academy and the UN System Staff College UNSSC. David supports several start‐up accelerators as an innovation/entrepreneur coach, mentor, and advisor in his spare time. Tobias Endress is an Assistant Professor and Program Director for Business Analytics and Digital Transformation at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), School of Management. He has over 20 years of professional experience in digital project business and innovation management. His former (nonacademic) roles include project manager, product owner and business analyst for leading European and US financial services companies. He has completed professional training in banking, graduated in Computer Science and Business Administration at VWA Frankfurt/ Main, and studied Business Economics at Avans+ in Breda (NL). He received a Master’s Degree in Leadership in Digital Communication at Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin), as well as a Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham (UK). He is a Fellow of the EuroMed Academy of Business and the director of the Startup Grind Chapter in Bangkok.
