Overview

This is a story about an elderly man that has outlived all of his loved ones. One day he visits his old home place and walks down an old dirt road he often walked as a child. Suddenly he is transported back in time. He doesn't understand how or why, but he has an opportunity to do and see things that many wish they could do. After several trips back into his past, he meets someone that explains why he was chosen to see what he sees. This is a work of fiction, but many events in the story actually happened. The places are real and so are the people, although the people's names have been changed. The old man has several heartwarming meetings and interactions with some of those he lost long ago. He gets to see his children when they were young, his best friend, and the loving wife he lost many years earlier. He even gets to see his mother and father when they were children. If you enjoy this kind of story, I believe you will enjoy this one.
