To begin with, I have presented the view that how the knowledge of the history of philosophy and ethics in particular helps a scholar to understand and shape his own stance on any theory in a commendable manner. My own views regarding Philosophy and Ethics have been presented with the description of important factors that I recognize to play an important role in the Ethical decision making. I have later mentioned that how the consequentialist theories are an important part of the Liberal ethics, namely Perfectionism and Utilitarianism. I have compared the theories that have been put forward by Liberal philosophers with other popular and prevalent form of ethical theories. In the end, after discussing the monumental efforts of premier philosophers to reconcile the various moral theories, I have put forward my probable complete ethical model with right theoretical components at right place analogous to the theory of Loksamgraha in Bhagavad-Gita. The methodology that has been used is analytical. The conclusion is derived through analogous and synthetic approach.
