Author Information

Asonja Aleksandar is a professor at the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management, Business Academy University, Novi Sad, where he has worked since 2013. He completed all undergraduate, master, and Ph.D. studies at the University of Novi Sad in 2013. He is also an energy manager of the City of Novi Sad Energy at the Energy Agency of the City of Novi Sad, Serbia. He worked at NS-Termomontaža d.o.o. Novi Sad, Serbia (2004–2016) and A.D. Termoelektro, Belgrade, Serbia (2001–2004). He has published about 170 scientific and professional papers, 14 monographs, and 4 technical solutions and reviewed over 150 scientific papers. Evgeny Panidi completed his Ph.D. in Geoinformatics in 2012 at the Saint Petersburg State University, Russia (the thesis was defended at the Russian State Hydrometeorological University, Russia). He was appointed as an associate professor in 2014 at the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics of Saint Petersburg State University (SPBU) and as the head of the Department in 2017. His areas of research interest include management and processing of geospatial data in different domains, including natural and human geography, ecology, and engineering. He has supervised 14 Ph.D. theses and 22 M.Sc. theses. Since 2016, he has been an editorial board member of the “Vestnik of Saint Petersburg University. Earth Sciences” which is a scientific journal of Saint Petersburg State University Ayse Ozcan Buckley, Ph.D., is a professor of Political Science and Public Administration in Turkey and an adjunct faculty member at MSU. She graduated from the University of Inonu (Turkey) (MscPI, Ph.D.) specializing in environmental policies, housing policy applications, and resulting environmental impacts on urban form. Ozcan Buckley has studied on evaluating the application of legal principles to urban and environmental policies in Turkey. Her research and teaching interests address environmental planning, urban policies, climate change planning, green economy, sustainable development, renewable energy and sustainability and public policy. Ozcan Buckley’s current research focus is on urban climate change planning, ecological politics, and eco-municipal practices in the USA and Turkey. She is recently working on climate change planning experiences in the USA and also university climate action planning in Michigan. Ozcan Buckley has also worked in government and in private consulting as an urban policy researcher and analyst in Turkey.
