Formerly a professor at the Universite Paris I - Sorbonne,Jean Louis Paudrat is the author and contributor to many books on African art. Among them Primitivism in 20th Century Art (MoMA) and Art of Africa (Abrams). Egidio Cossa is the director of the African Section of the Museo Nazionale Preistorico Etnografico Pigorini in Rome.
