Overview

In January 2020, I returned to my hometown in Yorkshire for an extended break from my home in New York where I lived with my Nephew Harry and worked as an actor. In March 2020 I was forced to stay in England due to the pandemic and I returned to the wards in my role as a nurse. During the most challenging time of my life as a Nurse, I worked on various medical and surgical wards, responding to emergencies, working under the most pressurised environment I had ever encountered under high levels of stress. In my time as a nurse during 2020, I have worked in accident and emergency, medical wards, and the community telephone service providing vital information and care to people in crisis during a time of great uncertainty and fear. Whilst working as a nurse I have stayed with my parents in my childhood home. The discovery of homemade videos created by my twin brother Michael who passed away eight years ago, helped me discover the life my brother kept hidden, whilst also forcing me to move on with my own life. Join me on my journey as a nurse in 2020 the most challenging year of my life.
