Author Elaine Vail, an Arizona native, devoted over 40 years to education as an English and Speech teacher, and librarian. Her passion for literature and the spoken word inspired her writing career. Vail cherishes family moments, describing them as the best heart medicine. Her book, A Nice Cup of Tea, was inspired by her warm, three-decade-long, tea-time experiences with her English mother-in-law, Mona. Currently, Vail resides in Sedona, Arizona, where she enjoys her tea while admiring the stunning red rock views. Illustrator Libby Caldwell, originally from England, relocated to America in 1990 and Arizona in 1998. Her love for tea and its daily tradition in her life made her the perfect fit to illustrate A Nice Cup of Tea.
