This book is so accessible...it gently normalizes parents' new partners. Reading this book over and over has given my 6 year-old and I shared language for his experience with his dad's new girlfriend and my boyfriend. My teens have also read it to him and it was so helpful for them as well! Our whole family is grateful for this thoughtful story and it's warm, inviting artwork.
