She graduated with a degree in elementary education. Her concentration was in English and communications. After nearly eight and a half years in the education field, she temporarily became a stay-at-home mom. Upon her career change, Anna wrote a book about her love story with her husband, Anthony. They met when he was in the Marine Corps stationed in Beaufort, South Carolina. They married one another within six months.
