María de la O Hernández-López Ph.D. (2009), is a Lecturer in English and Culture at Pablo de Olavide University (Seville). Her publications focus on cross-cultural and intercultural communication. She has lately co-edited New Perspectives on (Im)politeness and Interpersonal Communication (2012). Lucía Fernández-Amaya, Ph.D. (2002), is a Lecturer in English at the Department of Philology and Translation, Pablo de Olavide University, Seville. Her publications focus on pragmatics.
