Author Information

About the author: Kathleen Smyth was born in Peekskill, New York, but spent the majority of her childhood years growing up in the small coastal town of Westport, Massachusetts. Her love of writing began at an early age, first with fantasy and fiction short stories then eventually developing into a love of journalism as a teen and young adult. Businesswoman by day, writer by night, her first cookbook A Mother's Love (Kid tested, mother approved recipes for the mom on the go) was released in late May, 2016, and her follow-up Babycakes: The Ultimate Cupcake Guide is scheduled for release in June 2016. She is also in the works of creating a home and lifestyle website, which will tie into her upcoming books, set to launch summer 2016. Kathleen currently resides in Connecticut with her 6-year-old son Brendan, her parents, and their rescued pitbull, Olive.
