Overview

How do you define wickedness? Are predators evil, or are they fulfilling their role in nature? And how do you navigate a life with inherent circumstances that weren't your choice? This installment of Alucard's saga tells the tale of him as a boy named Luca and how he and his mother cope with his curse as a half-mortal vampire. In efforts to save his soul, Anelia faces difficulties reconciling her beliefs with her son's damned existence. In order to ensure he doesn't become barbarous like his father, Dracula, Anelia toils to teach Luca morals and compassion. As an adult, Alucard walks the road to recovery after allowing trauma and anger to drive him to join Dracula's forces. Being a man without a home or a species, Alucard searches for a place where he belongs. Along the way, he works to separate himself from his curse, in hopes that people will accept his true identity and restore his soul to what his mother's love intended it to be.
