Sima Levy is a mother, wife, teacher, writer, and creator who was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. When she was eight years old, her family moved to New York. Later that same year, her eighteen-year-old brother died of a brain tumor, and it was this tragedy that stirred in her a desire to give back to the world. Now, inspired and helped by her husband and three children, Levy's Meet the Artist series is making those childhood dreams a reality. When she's not teaching at Cohen's Medical Center, where she enjoys immersing children in art and watching them forget their pain and illness for a few precious hours, she likes to spend her evenings dreaming up the next adventure for Ms. Simone, Paris, and the gang.
