Overview

Modern Yogi's poems to the divine is a collection of poems that stem from hours of heart centered meditation practice. They describe and illustrate life itself and our role in it as humans. They address the ego and the illusion of separateness. The lines in this book seek to inspire compassion for one another since the observer that exists inside of ourself, also lives inside every other living being. We are a part of divinity, the Universe or the beloved and there is pure Universal consciousness inside each and every one of us. We may think we are separate, but in reality we are parts of a whole. These poems are meant for light reading, sharing or meditating upon at any time of the day or perhaps at the end of a yoga class.
