He is the author of six previous books, both fiction and nonfiction, that explore fly fishing as a sport, a craft, and a vehicle for meaningful relationships between those with whom we share our waters. Lost in Wyoming, a collection of short stories, was selected as a finalist for the 2011 Ken Kesey Oregon Book Award in fiction. During his career, Sadil has written for every significant fly fishing magazine, including twelve years writing the “At the Vise” fly tying column for California Fly Fisher.
