The story of a Canadian man who went from the poverty of a dirt farm in Northern Ontario where he went barefoot to school until after the first few snowfalls, to becoming the Assistant General Superintendent of the fastest growing Protestant denomination in Canada-a story that must be told. Genuine humility and a self-effacing nature characterized the life of R.A. Bombay. A genuine love of people seemed to be the driving force behind his ministry. After four years of pastoral ministry, Cal Bombay and his wife Mary moved to Kenya, East Africa in 1962 and began 17 years of ministry on the mission field. He taught in the Bible College at Nyang'ori and later created Evangel Publishing House to compliment Evangel Press which grew to become the largest Christian Publishing House in Africa publishing in 43 languages and translating into another 104 languages around the world. Cal joined the staff of 100 Huntley Street as Director of Christian Multilingual Programming, serving as Vice-President of Missions for almost 25 years overseeing the areas of Christian Mission Productions and several ministries. Cal has written over 18 books, and authored dozens of pamphlets and articles.
