Overview

Events have progressed further than anyone anticipated. Thruum claimed a physical vessel, an avatar, in a powerful body. He is returned to EL. They may have imprisoned him but for how long? How long can the resonate's power hold a godling? Prophecies abound. The prophecies the sect clings to are still moving forward despite the heavy resistance. The next step is to raise an army serving Thruum and carve their own land in preparation for his ascension back to his rightful place in the heavens. Beasts, aberrations thought long gone, resurface to answer their father's call to arms. Though imprisoned, Thruum's will continues. The death of the gem mage, their most powerful ally, does not bode well for the heroes. All is not roses for the sect, however. Mysterious murders of their key members plague the motherland. They have made new enemies. The Anomaly struggles to hold their authority. The Shinning One seeks a way to maintain his power as Jadahal grows to become their rising heart upon Pangias. Meanwhile, Mistress Shania struggles to maintain the faith after nearly losing the ritual and then finding her lord and savior imprisoned. She must rely on Xie and Trina to keep her going. While all of this transpires within the sect, the heroes struggle to fight back and put an end to the dark machinations predicted by their prophecies. They will not give in. Some, led by Vallen, head to the capital to force the hand of those in charge. The throne and the senate must take action. Others take time to recuperate and plan for the battles that are surely coming. Can they withstand the constant threats delivered by an angry sect in retaliation?
