Shane Louwerens received his Bachelors of liberal Arts from the University of Mississippi, Associate of Arts from Northwest Mississippi Community College, and Advanced John Deere Technical Instructor diploma from John Deere University. Served six years in the USAF, worked five years as a John Deere service technician in the Mississippi Delta, Hired as lead technical instructor for the John Deere Tech program located in Senatobia, Ms in 2000. Notable accomplishments include being featured on the cover of Mississippi Farmer magazine 2002. Tennessee Farmer magazine and Northwest Now magazine 2009. Performed lead instructor roll on the John Deere Power Up DVD video 2008. Class project featured in Farm Show publication volume #30 2006. Received Outstanding Program of the year 1st runner up from Association of Career and Technical Educators 2006-2007. Featured during Mechanics Minutes segment on radio show Living the Country Life Moline IL 2008-2011. Presenter/Speaker on College Partnerships with John Deere at National Career Pathways conference in Louisville, Kentucky 2007. National Conference co-presenter on Partnering for professionalism Association of Career and Technical Educators Atlanta Ga, 2009.
