A Home for Sarah

Overview

Come along on the flight from San Francisco to Colorado, where Daddy Bird flies to find the perfect nest to call home. Watch Sarah learn to fly at the park and ride on Daddy's back to meet all of the forest animals. Returning home, Sarah wonders, ""When will Mommy and Daddy sing?"" As you read, find the ladybug on each page. And remember, just like Sarah, you are a precious gift to your family.

Author Information

Kristine Fuhriman has loved animals since her childhood on a heavily forested, 40-acre farm in Honeoye, New York. She attended BYU, became an ICU registered nurse, married Rod and has 6 children: Courtney, Trevor, Heidi, Nicole (who passed away in 2000), Jeffrey and Caitlin, and 1 grandchild, Finn. She loves to catch frogs, play cello, bike and swim in mountain lakes. Ellen Thomas, the author's mother, has 6 children, 24 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her home is in the forest, filled with wildlife, overlooking a quiet bay in New York. In that serene setting, she has received inspiration for her artwork. She lives with her husband, James, yorkie-poo Emma, and ragdoll kitties Chloe and Percy. Caitlin Fuhriman, the author's daughter, lives in Danville, California, while pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. She loves reading and enjoys surfing, hand-lettering and calligraphy.
