Overview

Very few books have been written about the early Croats and their history remains in virtual 'terra incognita' to the English-speaking world. This book has been written, specifically in the English language, with the intention to inform my children, family and friends about the history of the early Croats; from the emergence and evolution of the proto-Croatian tribes to the establishment and demise of the various Croatian national states throughout the ancient times and the medieval periods. A History of the Early Croats is focused on the early Croatian rulers, kingdoms and principalities and provides a general overview of the people and significant historical events; within Croatian territories and the wider region, that have forged the Croatian nation through the ages.
