He has been collecting board games since 1989 when he finished his Master's Thesis in Game Playing Models. He has been a member of the Association of Game and Puzzle Collectors International since 1993 and has written numerous articles about boards games. He is an avid game player. This is his first book on board games. He has also published Souls of Iron, a history of the iron industry in Central Pennsylvania.
