Lu Peng is Director of Institutions of CHINART and Associate Professor in the Dept of Art History at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou. He is the author of an extensive list of publications. Bruce Gordon Doar is the executive translator of this work. He holds a PhD from the Dept Oriental Studies at the University of Sydney, and has taught at a number of universities. He is founder of the journal China Archaeology & Art Digest and co-founder of Chinese Heritage Quarterly online.
