Most of her work is set in Australia. Born & raised in North Queensland & despite her varied travels, she writes mainly on what she knows & loves. She is always looking for interesting characters & stories for the future. While studying for her BA she became fascinated with the gold mining era in far North Queensland & its impact on so many lives. So many stories left untold. Although the story is fictional, in order to do her novels justice, she spent years on researching the period.
