Author Information

Frank Richards had no idea the effect a simple weekend canoeing trip would have on his life. In the mid 1970s, he joined friends for a short wilderness excursion that included fishing. That was the beginning of a life long fascination. He has been on at least one serious trip per year ever since. He has seen beautiful places. He has enjoyed good fishing. His travels have included the Boundary Waters of Minnesota, the Moise and Rupert rivers in Quebec, the Soper River on Baffin Island, the Kenai Wildlife Refuge in Alaska, plus the St. John and Allagash rivers in Maine, where Richards now resides.
