Overview

Lynette was about to settle into a comfortable retirement in suburban Montreal when her husband accepted a contract in Malaysia. With trepidation, she followed along, not aware that she was about to start the most thrilling and dangerous time of her life. For the next three years, she traveled across Asia, from ultra-modern metropolises to ancient temples, encountering fascinating people and breathtaking places, avoiding a near-abduction, escaping a drug plant, discovering an eight-floor peeping Tom, stepping on a deadly stonefish and living to tell the tale. These endearing recollections, humorous and suspenseful, are an inspirational reminder that our best memories might always lie ahead, regardless of age.
