Amanda Huneke cherishes the moments where she has had the opportunity to nurture the wonder experienced in childhood. Given her work in educational settings and her academic background in anthropology and psychology, Amanda recognizes the unique needs of young readers and strives to create stories all young children can enjoy. She is the author of the gold medal IBPA Benjamin Franklin Book Award-winning, Why Not? (2017), as well as the four-book Monster on the Loose series (2013).
