Author Information

Traci Maynigo wrote the original edition of A Girl's Guide to College (Blue Mountain Arts, 2003) while attending Yale University, where she received a B.A. in English. After graduating, she moved to New York City, where she worked for several publishing houses, and also authored Spark Your Career in Book Publishing (Spark Publishing, 2007). A lifelong student, Traci completed her M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology at Columbia Teachers College, and is currently pursuing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. She has worked as a mental health counselor for adolescents and young adults in various settings in New York and New Jersey. She still reminisces about college.
