Reviews

I think this is an important historical document, not just a lovely book to read, a story that we need to remember and to know, so that we too can remember where we've come from and know where we are going. - Dr Bernadette Miles, Kardia Foundation The chronicle of Judith's life is a framework for sharing her experiences in, observations and suggestions for the Catholic Church, and this makes it a particularly timely book for the Australian Church in the current moment of crisis or perhaps renewal. - Council for Australian Catholic Women

Author Information

Judith Scully left religious life in the years following the Second Vatican Council. A Gentle Unfolding is about a vocation that was never lost, but kept on unfolding through marriage, children, her husband's death from Motor Neuron Disease and nearly two decades as a pastoral associate in Catholic parishes. Now retired, she lives among the gum trees in North Warrandyte on Melbourne's rural fringe where she writes Words from the Edge.com.
