A Friend for Lucy

Overview

Lately, Ana has been worried about her sister Lucy. It's been a long time since Lucy left the house, or someone came to visit. Maybe Ana can help her find a friend? There's just one problem: Ana is a ghost. How can she help her sister when no one can even see her? And then one afternoon, someone does... The debut picture book from Jen-Ai Elena Molineaux is a beautiful story of friendship across generations, sisterhood through the years, and the belief that those whom we love who have passed away still care about us.

Reviews

""Told in graphic novel-style panels, the sequences are extremely easy to follow, and the agreeable third-person narrative flows well alongside the speech bubbles. Vintage-style sepia drawings made from scratchy charcoal lines and digital coloring feel appropriately timeless... A tender tale of community, connection, and family.""
