Overview

This delightful twist on a bedtime picture book introduces readers to the unknowingly nocturnal Fox, whose late-night cocoa cravings take him on a journey in search of someone—anyone!—who is still awake to share a cup. Fox loves drinking cocoa with his friends. There’s just one problem: When the sun starts to go down and Fox is wide awake and craving chocolate—everyone else is heading off to bed! So Fox sets off in search of a friend to share his cocoa with. He comes across a topsy-turvy turtle, a bear in a sticky situation, plus more potential pals, but they’re all too sleepy for a late-night cup of cocoa. What is Fox to do? Someone else must be awake…

Author Information

Enrico Lorenzi is an Italian illustrator who was born and raised in a small seaside town in Liguria, Italy, and now lives in Florence. He studied at the Florence Academy of Fine Art and the Ars in Fabula Illustration School, and he has worked with many Italian publishing houses. A Friend for Fox is his English language debut.
