OverviewY'vonne grew up in Chermside, Brisbane. As a child, she loved the book, 'Thumbelina'. At the age of five, her grandmother would give her fabric scraps, with which she enjoyed making dolls clothes from. By high school, Yvonne was creating unique clothing for her friends, and making an income. Then, at age fifteen, Y'vonne became the manager of the local Newsagents. At the age of thirty, Y'vonne found pride in single motherhood, and fostered peace, harmony, and happiness in her home environment, with her children. She started working part-time within the Queensland bridal industry, under the wings of a very inspirational man. That very man knew that she had no formal qualifications, but could see her determination to achieve. Y'vonne took the reins of this special opportunity, and never looked back. From a one week intensive training workshop in Sydney, to working throughout Australia with the biggest bridal wholesalers in the world. Y'vonne continued to work along- side her staff, that she refers to as family, until something slowly crept into her life. That something ultimately led to her having to resign. As time flew by, Y'vonne's health got the better of her, and took her away from her passions within her career. So she set out, determined to achieve something else. That's when, 'Bohemian Dreams' evolved, and her little crafty hobby took off! Once again, Yvonne's health began to deteriorate. This time, with a shock diagnosis, But she wasn't ready to give up. The diagnosis propelled Y'vonne forward, and her creativity took off in a direction she never really thought it would, before now. During chemo, Y'vonne had a new idea for a Teen Fantasy novel, which was published with Paperbark Book Co + Publishing House, and we are very proud to be bringing you books Two and Three of the 'Forgotten Island In Hawaii', series.
