Overview

The author, an ex-priest, gives a candid down-to-earth portrayal of life as a priest and life as a family man. He shares his experiences in a matter-of-fact unmasking of his soul and provides a realistic picture of a man who is truly human with all the nicks and scars. The reader gets a behind-the-scenes look at life within the priesthood and within marriage. Chris's story is a fictional memoir revealing what realistically happens in his struggle to live his own life beyond the dictates of family and religion. The reader will be touched by the raw feelings that are exposed as the story of one man struggling with his destiny unfolds. It is so human, profound and simple and in some ways so universal. It reminds us that we all have our own life story and for that we should be grateful. The book is an affirmation that it is in our very humanity that we authenticate who we are and lets us rejoice in that understanding.
